Lowrance Airmap Rebate Program - for people who own the older Lowrance Airmap 100 and Airmap 300 GPS units.

The Lowrance rebate program allows existing owners of older Airmap 100 and Airmap 300 GPS units to receive discounts/rebates (as listed below) on the purchase of a new Airmap 600c or Airmap 2000c.

Rebate Program Instructions:

1. The customer must contact Lowrance at 1-800-324-4740 to obtain an RA# (return authorization number) from Lowrance for the older GPS unit to be returned. (Lowrance will want to know the serial number from the older GPS.)

2. The customer sends his old GPS to Lowrance, being sure to plainly print the RA# on the outside of the package.

3. After Lowrance receives the unit, Lowrance will mail the customer a rebate letter. (note: sometimes Lowrance does not require the return of the old GPS, and instead they will just ask for a photo to emailed or mailed to them of the front and back side of the unit including showing the old GPS serial number)

4. The customer mails or faxes the completed original rebate letter from Lowrance to us and orders a new Lowrance GPS and we deduct the rebate amount from the purchase price and we ship the new Lowrance GPS to the customer.

However! Most customers do not want to wait to go through this process to get their new GPS. So what we do with most customers is allow them to go ahead and immediately purchase a new GPS. We charge them our regular discount price for the new GPS when we ship the unit. Then after the customer has gone through the process with Lowrance and they have received the rebate letter from Lowrance, they complete it and fax or mail a copy to us and then we immediately put an appropriate credit onto the customer's charge card. Probably over 90% of our customers do it this way and it works just fine.
